Wow, Steve! Thanks for the kind words. I didn't see your comments until now. As far as Tidal vs. LP, I am coming around to the fact that streaming is pretty danged cool. I can't quite compare them because each format was on a completely different system. But here's my MO: I stream stuff on Tidal, usually on a Naim Mu-so or through my laptop with an Audioquest Dragonfly Black and the latest pair of Cardas Audio Ear Speakers. If I like it, I put it on my playlist. If I LOVE it, I immediately search for it on LP.

Hi Steve: Thank you. I've not yet Streaming, but when I do, it's good to know the PC (that I use) and JRiver 22 combination. The AudiRvana and similar MAC-based programs/ software was in effort to help a friend navigate through his entry into Streaming.

Cheers,

pj

I have no experience with AudioRvana or any MAC based software. I use JRiver Media Center 22 to control my PC based server, and stream tidal from its own app on that same server.

Hi Steve: Would you have experience with AudioRvana (or similar) and how it compares to Tidal/Tidal (MQA) Masters for sound quality ?

Cataloging and other features is not important. Any advice (or recommendations) would be greatly appreciated. (A simple, great sounding streaming service that focuses on sound quality is paramount ).

Thank you.

Listening to this album right now on Tidal Masters and it's every bit as good as you describe. Simply loving it. Any comment on how the LP sounds in comparison the the MQA Tidal stream? (I know, the LP kicks butt!). I'll have to order it or see if the local Barnes and Nobles or Frye's has it.

Listening to hires MQA version on TIDAL. Very, very good performance, music and sound - totally enjoyable, much appreciated.

It's always such a treat for me to be introduced to musical talent that I was previously unaware of and this was certainly one of those times. Since then I have been a huge fan and this album reinforces that.
