I described the noble first attempt by Unique Innovation Technology (UIT) to bring their outstanding new technology, demonstrated by their groundbreaking interconnects, to full bore with their speaker cables. I am truly excited by their progress and underscore UIT’s explanation of their current superb results as follows:

The PMP Speaker Cables retain the silver module on each leg containing four visible envelopes of wire twisted just so. The construction is elegant and first-rate, and may be terminated any way you like. I prefer locking bananas which Jack Bybee also recommends for lowest distortion...and he should know.
Their complex construction makes their $2400 for the first meter a solid value for materials and technology alone. Compared to all of my references at $5000 and $6000 per meter, the UIT wires got so close in overall definition, clarity, and lack of anything you might call distortion, I broke a sweat. We are talking neutrality unlike most of us have never experienced. We are hearing and seeing imaging as close to being there as may be imagined. The PMP Speaker Cable just squarely hits the audiophile nail on the head.
My reference speakers are Marten Birds and Marten Duke 2, both faster than a speeding bullet and alive with power and true realism if so driven by the best around. Single-wire them or bi-wire them with the UIT Speaker Cable (the ultimate is a double run of the single wire cables: two separate pairs instead of bi-wire), and your cable chase may truly be over and done.
Flaws? I found only one, but it was elusive! The UIT wires yield a bit more energy in the upper mids and a bit less energy in the lower mids. While all the perceived definition and imaging takes on an exciting pinpoint perfection, this slight frequency lift moves you away from absolute neutrality. The problem is, I like it a lot!
Hell, I am not sure exactly what is precisely neutral. I am focusing principally on timbres and imaging, and enjoy what I hear with the UIT wires.
Let me state for the record that I do not hear this subtle frequency shift in the UIT Interconnects whether RCA or Balanced. I have miles of UIT in both reference systems and just love their performance. In my opinion, there are no interconnects under $3000 per meter that can measure up to the UIT Interconnects, period.
Since the UIT Speaker Cables come in at half the cost of my best reference speaker cables, they absolutely receive a solid recommendation for both extreme performance and high value.
The Best News
The UIT Speaker Cables yield the clearest soundstage, least phase distortion, least ground loop noise, and most depth/width of the concert hall, while besting my most expensive references. The UIT Speaker Cables stay focused and nonplussed whether the music is sweet and lite or robust and bombast. The differences in cartridges, tubes, tweaks, and more are easier to discern via the UIT wires of all shapes and lengths, including the new speaker wires. Once you hear the UIT Speaker wires, get 200 hours playing time or cook them, then you, too, will be stunned. The music is so really real and the noise of all types is so really missing.

As with the interconnects, expect more definition and performance with the UIT Speaker Wires, because you will not be disappointed in the least.

Ever since I met Mitch Ko, UIT CEO, my musical enjoyment and system performance have never been the same...for the good!
SMP - Perfect Music Purifier Speaker Cables from UIT, made in California, are ready for prime time! At 50% less cost than similarly performing competitors, they must be considered as an extraordinarily great buy. I could stop here, but the UIT Speaker Cables are the noise police...reducing phase, ground loop, digital grit, and more. All this plus get ready for imaging to die for. I did not find a system they did not enhance. They have a money-back return policy, so there’s no risk.
UIT has done it again, this time with speaker cables. More music for less money...my kind of recommendation, folks!
