In one instance, the source of perceived strain was unexamined.

There is scant here about tonal balance (warm or lean, dark or bright?), tonality (euphonic or accurate, mid-forward or equitably extended?), image depth, friendliness to boundaries, or any of the other things that would interest a prospective buyer considering these in relation to comparables. In all, hard to determine, from the reviewer's perspectives, what makes these "a screaming bargain," though - having heard them myself - I agree that they deserve the description.
