should make for an interesting comparison indeed, even as I know little about that particular model. I think what makes The Pure compelling is that it's so very room friendly and fairly easy to setup and get good sound from without too many tweaks, etc.
]]>Well, limited is the two of us here who manage the site (Dave and Carol Clark), so yeah... limited works. While we have no issues with differing opinions or whatever, it is how one presents those that will cause us to either not approve or edit the comment. We do our best to approve comments but then there are times that they simply fail to add anything to the discussion. BTW, comments never appear to the public, other than the poster, unless they are approved. So while you might see yours, no one else can. Thanks for reading!
]]>Thank you for your reply. Some other forums often delete bad comments within minutes or an hour. Your forum must have more limited resources which is fine and fully explained above.
I do note that I've had derogatory statements made against my comments on a DISQUS forum site concerning CD audio quality being unworthy of audiophiles to listen to. On other occasions I noted that posters are just as negatively disinclined towards analog audio quality (namely, LP records). I think they are either purposely obstreperous just to be naysayers. Both formats have high audiophile qualities in my several audio systems.
]]>We do our best to approve (or not) DISQUS comments as they come in, but we are not at the computer 24/7. We tend to "shut" things down from 6-7PM till 8AM the next day along with times where we are away from the computer traveling and the like. We do have this posted on the FAQ page on the site as well... "All DISQUS comments must be approved at our end to appear on the site (we have the option of approving or not, marking the comment Spam, Editing the comment, or simply Deleting it—all of these are our Editorial decision, not yours) and while we get to them as quickly as possible, again be patient as it might be a few hours or even a day or two before it appears (We are not at the computer 24/7—we do like our sleep—and there are days where we might be traveling, covering a show, or just not online for some reason). Meaning no need to post twice. Please note: Comments that are derogatory, inflammatory, condescending, or simply mean and not in the spirit of conversation—that is they should add to the discussion and not detract—will not be approved or will have such comments or wording edited out for approval at our discretion. So be civil. We have no issues with a difference of opinion, but like we said, present it in a way that furthers the conversation and not one that is argumentative and demeaning. "
