Renowned Guitarist Anthony Pirog to Play for Show Attendees

Anthony Pirog will play for show attendees on Saturday, November 11, 7 PM, inside Olive’s Bar at the Hilton Rockville, location of the show.

Anthony Pirog is a guitarist, composer and loops magician with fearsome chops and a keen ear for odd beauty. His roots as a guitarist are in the work of D.C. guitar heroes Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan, and their virtuosic technique that blended all styles of popular music. Pirog builds upon those roots, working in straight and experimental jazz, improvisation and electronics/looping, creating a sound that is uniquely his own.
