Equinox is the world’s only Lampizator licensed vacuum tube D/A converter designed by Łukasz Fikus. It is also the most affordable D/A converter available with the Lampizator logo.
Equinox is based on PCM1794 chipsets and 12AU7 vacuum tube. Fezz/Toroidy engineers designed a dedicated, highest quality Supreme class toroidal power transformer for Equinox’s power supply.
The device is equipped with 2 Toslink, 1 coaxial and 1 USB digital signal inputs and one set of RCA outputs. Thanks to the easily accessible tube housing, located under the sliding glass door on the top panel, Equinox offers users the opportunity to tailor the sound to taste by easily swapping in different 12AU7 tubes.
US retail price is $2,995. Equinox is in stock now at Bluebird Music in Black Ice (Black) and Sunlight (Champagne) finishes. Dimensions are 14" x 15" x 3.7" and the unit weights 17.6 lbs.
