Just released! The PF DSD Sampler, Volume 1

Great news!

Positive Feedback and NativeDSD (http://www.nativeDSD.com) announce the release of a joint music project, the PF DSD Sampler, Volume 1. This project was done to celebrate NativeDSD.com's amazing achievement of passing 1000 albums at its site in early September of 2016.

The PF DSD Sampler, Volume 1 is a collection of ten selections from the very large library of excellent recordings carried by NativeDSD.com, made by myself as Editor-in-Chief of Positive Feedback. Having long experience with DSD, NativeDSD approached me with the opportunity to put together a representative cross-section of music from their archives, a request that I was delighted to take advantage of. I was given the privilege of compiling the tracks from among my favorites, and of providing my impressions on each one for listeners.

It took quite a long time to do this! I ended up with over an hour of music, with selections from various labels and in an array of genres. Some tracks are Single DSD (64fs), some Double DSD (128fs), and some are Quad DSD (256fs). This will give purchasers the opportunities to hear various DSD sampling rates, as well as different types of music. It's also quite useful for those who are curious about the difference that higher-rate DSD makes in their own systems.
