October 24th, 2024 (Montreal, Canada) – MOON will be partnering with Audio Center Poland to demonstrate its award-winning 791 network player/preamplifier and 761 power amplifier at this year’s Audio Video Show.
The MOON 791 network player/preamplifier combines a high-end phono stage and streaming DAC with a state-of-the-art analogue preamplifier. Its beautiful colour screen displays volume levels, setup menus, artist names, track listings, and album cover art in brilliant detail. It features seven digital inputs (including HDMI ARC), three analogue inputs, and two outputs (independently configured for variable or fixed volume). Its MDE2 (a re-clocking FPGA and flagship DAC) supports resolutions up to 32/384 and DSD256. The 791 can host a USB drive and features the Roon Ready MiND2 network player, supporting Bluetooth and AirPlay 2. The phono preamp accommodates both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, with real-time configuration via the menu system.
The MOON 761 power amplifier effortlessly delivers delicate audio signals from the 791 network player/preamplifier to loudspeakers with absolute transparency and finesse. With 200W per channel, the 761 controls even the most demanding loudspeakers. The LED indicator at the front of the 761 subtly blends status notifications with the amplifier’s sophisticated MOON styling and exemplary manufacturing standards.
Operating the 761 and 791 is effortless with the new MOON BRM-1 remote control, featuring the luxurious MOON volume knob, groundbreaking touch controls, and visual feedback. The industry-leading remote is calibrated to deliver the celebrated MOON precision, ensuring perfect performance.
Audio Center Poland’s Room SN: 213 will be a complete hi-fi tour de force. The MOON 791 will unite with the 761 to drive Audiovector’s new Trapeze Reimagined loudspeaker. Nordost will complete the system, ensuring a pure performance with V2 power cords, analogue and digital interconnects and speaker cables, a QB8 Mk.3 Distribution Block, a QNET Network Switch, a QSource Linear Power Supply, and Sort Kone Anti-Resonance Control Devices.
