NAD ELECTRONICS MASTERS M66 BLUOS STREAMING DAC-PREAMPLIFIER AWARDED TOP HONOUR BY WORLD’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS HI-FI PRESS

M66 wins EISA award for its sonic performance, unique flexibility, and range of connectivity options

TORONTO, CANADA, AUGUST 15, 2024 – NAD Electronics, the highly regarded manufacturer of high-performance audio/video components, announced today that the M66 BluOS Streaming DAC-Preamplifier has won the 2024-2025 EISA Streaming Preamplifier Award. Expert Imaging and Sound Awards, known as EISA, is an association of 61 specialty electronics magazines and websites from 29 countries. Contributing members of the association are also now in over 30 countries extending far beyond Europe. EISA Award winners are selected by members after testing and reviewing thousands of products. Award winners are considered the best in their category over the year, and EISA aims to award and celebrate the most advanced technology and desirable features with leading class performance.

EISA editors of hi-fi audio publications praise the NAD M66 for its incredible sonic performance, unique flexibility for all audiophiles, and wide range of connectivity options.

“With the M66, NAD has given audiophiles a preamplifier that’s a fit for both streaming and vinyl playback – and a fine match for the mighty M23 power amps of its flagship Masters series. A host of connections, including HDMI ARC and dedicated MM and MC phono inputs, gives the M66 the flexibility to stand out in a crowded market, as does its 175mm touchscreen display; control NAD’s preamp here, or through the refreshed BluOS app with its multitude of streaming services”, states journalists of the 2023-2024 EISA Awards Board in an official statement. The statement goes on to say; “To top it off, the M66 supports connection of up to four subwoofers, expertly integrated through Dirac Live Bass Control. This opens the door to a huge sonic performance leap, taking an already fine-sounding DAC/streamer/preamp to another level.”

“The M66 truly encapsulates the pinnacle of what is technically achievable in today’s day and age,” states Cas Oostvogel, NAD Product Manager. “Our cutting-edge Masters Series preamplifier combines leading-edge capabilities such as BluOS high-resolution music streaming, Dirac Live Room Correction, Dirac Live Bass Control and four independent subwoofer outputs—a first in this category.” Oostvogel goes on to conclude, “At NAD Electronics, we take price in creating masterpieces of sound, and the M66 is no exception.”

The EISA Awards are currently in their 42nd year, with their membership including leading audio journalists from Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific. Award results are widely regarded as one of the highest honours in the hi-fi industry. To win an EISA Award, products must undergo a robust, rigorous and exhaustive judging process in two stages. After intensive testing and audition at the facilities of EISA member magazines, each journalist submits a shortlist of the best products in each awards category. The second stage takes place at EISA’s annual General Meeting, where a democratic voting process establishes a consensus of excellence and determines the winning products.

The M66 is available at select premium audio retailers around the world. Find out more about the M66 at nadelectronics.com/m66.
