AudioDeskSysteme Gläss GmbH introduces the Premium “Silent Core One” Vinyl Cleaner

AudioDeskSysteme Gläss GmbH is best known for nearly two decades of manufacturing “the original” Vinyl Cleaner, the first fully automatic ultrasonic record cleaning machine that has been considered the benchmark in its product category ever since being introduced in 2009. Over the past seventeen years of manufacturing, the Vinyl Cleaner has evolved in terms of both effectiveness and reliability with each new iteration: In 2015, the Vinyl Cleaner PRO was the first significant upgrade, followed by the Vinyl Cleaner PRO-X in 2019 and then in 2025 the Vinyl Cleaner Premium. Along the way, this device has garnered countless accolades from the across the globe, making it the most awarded record cleaning machine currently available.

The latest version, the Premium “Silent Core One” Vinyl Cleaner, encompasses more upgrades than any previous version. This is the result of AudioDeskSysteme paying close attention to their business partners and their customers. Then taking the time - over the past eighteen months - to address all aspects of the machine that required refinement. As a result, the following significant enhancements have been implemented:

  • In-house developed, the more powerful “Silent Core One” drive motor is audibly quieter and more reliable.
  • Reduced time for the drying cycle, by approximately 50%.
  • A new optimised position for the water pump, allowing for improved cooling.
  • A new software control system that is short-circuit proof as a result of current management.
  • New microfiber cleaning rollers with improved concentricity for both a quieter operation and improved contact with record surface.
  • The disc rinsing function now uses higher pressure for improved effectiveness.
  • New drying wipers for both quieter operation (eliminating the occasional squeaking sound) and a longer-life span.
  • The Premium “Silent Core One” can be repaired by authorized service locations; It will no longer necessary to ship a malfunctioning machine back to the factory in Germany for servicing (i.e. replacing the water pump or the motor).
  • Optimized filtration effect as a result of a new wet filter.

The gold standard for vinyl cleaning continues to evolve in significant ways!

The first ultrasonic-based machine to thoroughly clean and dry both sides of a record at the same time, all by the touch of a single button, now enters its fifth generation. Currently distributed in over 40 countries on 6 continents, Premium “Silent Core One” Vinyl Cleaner will continue the tradition of being the benchmark for all vinyl cleaning machines.

Effective immediately, The Audio Desk Systeme Premium “Silent Core One” Vinyl Cleaner and accessories will be sold factory direct to USA customers for the foreseeable future.

The Premium “Silent Core One” Vinyl Cleaner is now available with an MSRP of $3,599.00 USD.

Founded in 1995 by Reiner Gläss, with a background in precision mechanics from Carl Zeiss, AUDIO DESK Systeme Gläss began by producing furniture for CD storage solutions. Then in 1998, the “CD Sound Improver” was introduced. A specialized machine that processed the edges of a Compact Disc through precise chamfering and coloring; The physical effect was to minimize the stray light within the disc to improve sampling accuracy and therefore, sound quality. In 2002 the “Disc-Cleaner” for CDs, DVDs, SACDs and CD-ROMs came to market, combining technical sophistication with user-friendliness; a one button operation that triggered the entire automatic cleaning process.

The design of the “Disc Cleaner” was the hallmark for the creation of the first fully automatic ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner launched in 2009, encompassing over 4 years of research and development. Fast forward to 2026, with the continued growth of vinyl sales – both new and used – demand for the Vinyl Cleaner is as popular as ever. Today with CD’s showing sales growth for the first time in well over a decade, AudioDeskSysteme will be re-releasing the “CD Sound Improver” later this year.
